Pastor
Dear Friends,

We are just ent
ering the spring months of April and May.
The Georgia dogwoods and pear trees are in full bloom, a
delight to the eyes of most.  Although a precious few of us
are forced to deal with allergies this time of year.  We have
already celebrated Easter this year and most of you are
returning from spring break.

Spring is a time of new life as part of God’s creative plan.  I
pray that it will also be a time of renewal and refreshment
for you.  Take time to enjoy family outings, working in the
yard (if that’s your thing), and taking in a few baseball
games, especially if your children or grandchildren are
playing.

But please don’t forget to be renewed spiritually as well.
Spend time alone with God.  Pray and journal in the cool of
the morning.  Be faithful to worship and dig into the Word
of God with the Trinity family.  Keep Christ the center of
your spring chores and recreation.

We want to equip you and your family to be spiritually
refreshed and renewed this spring.  I will be preaching a
sermon series over the next few months entitled:
Where
Faith Meets Real Life
.  This study will take us verse by
verse through the book of James, perhaps the most
practical book of the New Testament.  We will learn that
faith is more than an abstract or a buzzword for religion; it
is a way of life that should impact every venue of living.

I want to encourage you to begin praying today for
yourself, your family, our church, and our community.
Pray that our faith becomes so real and tangible that
people see and experience the noticeable change in our
lives!  Pray that the messages will be anointed, the people
responsive, and that lives will be changed for the glory of
God.

Don’t forget to clue me in on how God is working in your
life and how your faith is becoming more real!

Because He Lives,
